Chess Club

Hello all,

First of all I would like to welcome our new students who are in Chess Club and potential future members as well. I hope that you have all enjoyed your experiences so far. Also, a great welcome back to our existing members.

We started our chess activities this year with a wonderful tournament. This week is already Round 5 and finals will be played on 16th March 2017.

In order to better develop their chess skills, students should read, watch previews of famous games and practice consistently. We will continue with our weekly chess practice on Thursdays and we will also be looking forward to participating in chess tournaments in Victoria and Australia.

I shall conclude with a quote from one of the current GREAT Chess player, Bobby Fischer:
